October 24th, 2011 Day 7/365

Let me introduce you to my running shoes, and Advocare products (: Well, I’m making progress in losing some weight you guys! So far I’ve lost 2 lbs since Day 2 of my 365, and I’m at 25% body fat which is 10% less than where I was in August. Woo, Woo!

Also ADVOCARE! Here’s my story:

Ever since I’ve graduated high school I’ve been slacking on getting fit. I took a body conditioning class, and I was doing well, until my boyfriend, Russell, talked to me about Advocare, because his sister, Lindsey, talked to him about it. It sounded so great, because it was what I wanted… TO BE FIT. So I got a Spark, and I took it one day before class, because we were doing the exact same workout that we did the previous day. My times improved, and I didn’t get tired, I just kept going! Then I went to a mixer, and I had a moment.. I wanted to do this so bad, but me being a college student without a job, making no money, I couldn’t. But I did 6 months later. I’ve been using Advocare for almost a year, and I don’t regret it.

- Last year I weighed 170 or 175 pounds with about 36% body fat.

- Currently I weighed 160.0 lbs, with 25% body fat.

It took me a while, but I’m getting there (:

October 23, 2011 Day 6/365

My cat decided to camp out in my bed sheets, and for the rest of the day on my bed, and I needed to take a photo for the 365! 

In case you didn’t know this is my cat Joey also known as “joe” or “joe joe”.

October 22nd, 2011 (yesterday) Day 5/365

I know, I know… I’m a day late, but I wasn’t really by my computer yesterday…

So my photo is of a bowling ball, MY bowling ball (: It’s name is Karen, because it wasn’t my ball at first, it was one of my mom’s friends balls. Karen (my mom’s friend) was in a bowling league, and she had shoes, and a ball that she didn’t want after she quit, so my mom aqquired a bowling ball and shoes, not knowing that her child in the future would be able to use them (:

I went cosmic bowling with some of my close friends last night, and it was a lot of fun! I broke out “Karen”, and her shoes (which fit my feet perfect), and we went bowling.

Sorry it’s late, but I WAS bowling.. ha

Feeling Sentimental

When my Nina (grandma) died there was no one else that was going  to stay in the house that my grandparents had since they moved to America, and I was trying to get pieces of that place, because I pretty much grew up in that wonderful home, this object in the photo was one of them, along with one of my grandmothers dresses, and a key chain that says “Lupe”. I thought this thing was soo cool, it’s covered in beads, and what’s holding those beads intact is some kind of wax. It’s always on my desk, and I love it.

If you were curious: My Grandparents, mother, aunts, and uncles (immediate family) came from Jalisco, Mexico.
